Thinking about booking a session with JB Moments Photography but not quite sure what to expect? Whether it’s your first shoot or you’ve worked with me before, I know you might have a few questions—so I’ve rounded up the most common ones right here.
My goal is always to make your session relaxed, fun, and full of moments you’ll treasure.
Booking & Preparation
How do I book a session?
Super easy! Just head to my Contact Page or email me directly. We’ll have a quick chat about what you need, pick the best date and time, and get everything scheduled.
What should I wear?
Wear what makes you feel good! Solid colours generally work best on camera, and for group or family shots, coordinating (not matching) tones look fantastic. Don’t worry—I’ll send over a session prep guide full of outfit tips and ideas.
Do you shoot at weekends?
Yes! I offer both weekday and weekend slots, but weekends fill up quickly, so book early if that’s your preference.
The Day of the Shoot
Where does the shoot take place?
It depends on your session type.
For headshots and family photos, I shoot in my cosy home studio in Auchterarder.
For personal branding and some lifestyle sessions, we’ll choose an on-location setting that suits your brand or vision.
We’ll go over all this in your pre-shoot chat.
I feel awkward in front of the camera—help!
You are not alone! Almost everyone feels this way. My job is to help you relax and enjoy the experience. I’ll guide you with easy posing and gentle direction, and we’ll have a laugh along the way. The best photos come when you’re comfortable—and that’s my specialty.
After the Shoot
When will I receive my photos?
I’ll send you a private online gallery within 1–2 weeks of your session. From there, you can view, download, and select your favourite images. You’ll also have the option to order prints or products if you’d like.
Will the images be edited?
Yes! All your final images are hand-edited to look polished, natural, and totally “you.” I don’t do heavy filters or make you look like someone else—just the best version of your awesome self.
