How much do you charge?
My prices are all upfront and transparent. There are no uncomfortable after-shoot sales appointments as I don’t believe in them.
All prices are available under the relevant section of this website.
I also run promotions and mini-sessions throughout the year so sign up for my newsletter or follow me on FaceBook to make sure you don’t miss out.
How can I pay?
Booking fee and final payment can be made by Bank Transfer, Credit/Debit card or PayPal. I don’t accept cash or cheques.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, I am happy to set up a payment plan for you. Please note printed products will not be delivered until payment has been made in full.
What should I wear?
It depends on the type of session you are having but generally, I always suggest you keep it simple – it’s best to avoid wearing bold colours and patterns when you come to a session. If it’s a family session try and coordinate your clothes with the other family members. If in doubt a pair of blue or black jeans and a neutral top is always a winner. With babies and little ones feel free to bring a few outfit changes! I will send you a handy guide to help you get the best out of your session once you’ve booked.
How many photos will I get?
Every session is different but rest assured you’ll get plenty of edited images to treasure.
Can I print my own images from the Online Gallery or do I have to order through you?
All packages include the digital images to download ready to print with the exception of the basic family, newborn and boudoir packages – they only include low resolution watermarked images that are suitable for social media but not printing.
How long do you store my images for? What if I want to order products at a later date?
I will hold your images in your online gallery for twelve months and don’t worry I will contact you before I remove them.
What is 'Client for Life'?
Client for life is offered to clients that invest in my top wedding package. Every year after their wedding they get a free one-hour basic studio session for as long as JB Moments Photography is in business. Pretty sweet, huh?
Are you insured?
Yes I have Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance to ensure everybody has peace of mind
Do you retouch your images?
I retouch images if I think they need it and to help you look your absolute best. I will remove anything that isn’t normally there e.g. blemishes, pimples, strap marks, etc but I won’t change somebody fundamentally. You’re gorgeous just as you are!
I do hand-edit every image to make them look beautiful.
Are you a member of any Professional bodies?
Yes, I am a Professional Member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers.
Why should I trust you with my children?
As well as being a professional Auntie and Godmother to lots of kids, I also have my full Disclosure Scotland so the Scottish Government and the Police have checked me out too. I have this because of my charity work with Remember my Baby. I love working with children of all ages and having a teenage Nephew on the Autistic Spectrum has taught me lots about engaging with children with learning or behavioural difficulties.
