How much do you charge?
You will get a good idea of what you are investing in by looking through the website under the type of session you are interested in. For my full services and price list please contact me and I will send it out to you. I also run promotions and mini-sessions throughout the year so sign up for my newsletter or follow me on FaceBook to make sure you don’t miss out.
How can I pay?
Booking fee and final payment can be made by Bank Transfer, Credit/Debit card or PayPal. I don’t accept cash or cheques.
What should I wear?
It depends on the type of session you are having but generally, I always suggest you keep it simple – it’s best to avoid wearing bold colours and patterns when you come to a session. If it’s a family session try and coordinate your clothes with the other family members. If in doubt a pair of blue or black jeans and a neutral top is always a winner. With babies and little ones feel free to bring a few outfit changes! I will send you a handy guide to help you get the best out of your session once you’ve booked.
How many photos will I get?
Every session is different but rest assured you’ll get as many as I can. The expected minimum number is quoted on my full services and price list (but I usually go over this!). Please contact me and I’ll send it out to you.
Can I print my own images from the Online Gallery or do I have to order through you?
The images on the Gallery can be downloaded watermark-free and are ready for you to share on social media or print up to about 10×8’ size (optimum quality at 5×7”). If you want larger sized prints or canvases I can help you with that.
How long do you store my images for? What if I want to order products at a later date?
I will hold your images for twelve months and don’t worry I will contact you before I remove them.
Are you insured?
Yes I have Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance to ensure everybody has peace of mind
Do you re-touch your images?
I retouch images if I think they need it and to help you look your absolute best. I will remove anything that isn’t normally there e.g. blemishes, pimples, strap marks, etc but I won’t change somebody fundamentally. You’re gorgeous just as you are!
Are you a member of any Professional bodies?
Yes, I am a Professional Member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers.
Why should I trust you with my children?
As well as being a professional Auntie and Godmother to lots of kids I also have my full Disclosure Scotland so the Scottish Government and the Police have checked me out too. I have this because I mentor High School young people that are in the care system (mcrpathways.org). I also used to volunteer for Number Partners when I worked for a Bank, teaching math to P6 kids. I love working with children of all ages and have a teenage Nephew on the Autistic Spectrum that has taught me lots about engaging with children with learning or behavioural difficulties.
