Wedding Supplier

Welcome to my 2nd interview highlighting and promoting excellent local businesses in and around Larbert. If you missed my interview with Fiona at Bridal Boutique at Frox of Falkirk you can catch up here.

This time I spoke to Aimee at Irene’s Florist. Irene’s Florist is an award-winning premier florist set up in 1989 and making brides bouquets and venues special ever since.

Aimee, thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule for this, tell me what’s hot in wedding flowers at the moment?

Our popular wedding trends are very vintage garden style wedding bouquets, lots of traditional shower bouquets are definitely coming back in, with us using lots of foliage and wild looking flowers.

And when someone orders from Irene’s Florist, what can they expect?

They can expect us to provide the best service possible, we definitely go out of our way to ensure all our customers are happy with both our products and service. Also, we are very knowledgeable having over 40 years experience so our customers can expect us to advise them on suitable choices based on what they are looking for. We also pride ourselves on good quality products at a very reasonable price so our customers can expect long lasting and fresh beautiful flowers, without paying too much.

How can couples decide if you’re right for them?

I think couples can judge if a supplier is right for their wedding day if the supplier can offer them exactly what they are looking for and understands their ideas. THe supplier must be able to meet the couple’s budget for them to be a right fit for the wedding. Most importantly when the couple first meets with the supplier they have to feel comfortable enough to trust the supplier to play an important role in their big day.

What one piece of advice would you offer to couples planning their wedding?

One piece of advice to couples would be to try and get things booked and organised as early as possible, being organised definitely helps in the planning of the wedding. This saves stress on the lead up to the big day and definitely makes it more enjoyable!

Thanks, Aimee that’s been brilliant, finally, what other services does Irene’s Florist offer as well as wedding flowers?

We also supply flowers for lots of different occasions – birthdays, anniversaries, christenings, corporate work and funeral flowers. We take pride in all the work we do and always try our best no matter how big or small the order may be.

I can certainly vouch for that as I have been the lucky recipient of many anniversary flowers from Mr JB from Irene’s. They are always beautiful and last absolutely ages. If you haven’t already – give them a try, you’ll not be disappointed.
