Kids Photography
It feels like a lifetime ago now, but in reality, it was just the beginning of this year. I was sat at my desk, in the head office of a bank, thinking about all the things I needed to do to take the leap and start my own photography business. I knew I needed a great looking website and I wasn’t enamoured by the DIY websites you could create that all looked kinda samey (especially the photography ones). A deskmate suggested Kuka Studios a company run by a cool couple that he went to school with.
Best Decision Ever…
From the first time I met Jill and we bonded over a love of skulls and not conforming to getting my initial logo designs back from her husband Harry I knew I’d made the absolute right choice and as you can see my website is pretty frickin cool!
So it was a great honour to get a request from Jill to take some pictures of their kids now that the newest addition to the family, Tabitha, was 6 months old. Even more so when they were travelling over 40 miles for the experience!
The Dude
Theo (6) was the eldest and the big brother to Sienna (3) and Tabitha (6 months). I think he is going to have his work cut out with two younger sisters but it was clear that he dotes on them. He was super patient, super cool and had the most amazing smile. It’s fair to say I totally adored him!
The Lady
With the most angelic smile and the spitting image of her mum, Sienna was showing no signs of being the difficult ‘middle child’ (although it has only been 6 months!!). She was full of giggles and mischief.
The Cutie Pie
Six months of squidgy, cute, gorgeousness that is Miss Tabitha, I definitely got a few cuddles with this lovely lady before the session was over – perks of the job – hell yeah!
Didn’t they do well
Despite a fairly long drive and three costume changes the kids were brilliant and made my job super easy. I say job loosely because kidding around with this lot was far too much fun to be a ‘job’!
One of the costume changes was a Christmas one and we gave my new (old) sleigh a spin ahead of my Christmas mini sessions next week. It’s too early to reveal those shots! But what I will say is, my ovaries pretty much exploded when I saw Tabitha in her Christmas outfit!!!
