There is nothing like a grandchild to put a smile on your face, a lump in your throat and a warm feeling in your heart…
I had often seen Alice out walking whilst Bert and Ernie, my two Frenchies, drag me around the estate! She walks every day, swims and plays squash. I had no idea she was a granny until she phoned me up one day looking for pictures of her grandsons. Talk about glamorous gran!
With the arrival of baby Joshua (3-months old), Alice wanted some pictures of him with his brother Jaxon (5 years old). As well as their big cousin Declan (11). We discussed outfits and Alice wanted them all in blue jeans and white t-shirts. This classic combination looks great against a white seamless background to let their personalities shine out and I also had a new ‘distressed brickwork’ backdrop that I knew would work perfectly with the boys.
Declan was such a handsome young man and a credit to his mum and gran as he was so polite and well behaved. Look at those eyes and those freckles…he is going to be a heartbreaker when he is older, for sure!
Props like this foam pointy hand always go down well with boys. It gives them something fun to do so they relax. Not that this cheeky chappy needed any help. He was a super cool dude with his gelled hair and I could have snapped that gorgeous grin all day. I think mum, Stephanie has a heartbreaker on her hands as well!
Finally the three-month-old bundle of gorgeousness that I stopped cuddling long enough to photograph, Joshua. **swoon**
Jaxon clearly dotes on his new little brother, which was lovely to see.
Declan and Jaxon also have a great relationship as cousins, which was a joy to capture.
But it was the three of them together that granny wanted and we all know that Granny Rules!!
Looking at these three, she has every right to be proud of her gorgeous grandsons.
If you would like some pictures of your grandkids, sons or daughters, I’d love to chat to you.
