Wedding Albums
As a modern bride or groom, you’re probably aware of the HUGE amount of choices out there for displaying your photos.
Have you ever seen your parents or grandparent’s wedding photos? Chances are they were printed or displayed in a wedding album and the ability to share and enjoy these memories is priceless. The idea of handing down a file folder of wedding images to your children just doesn’t have the same appeal and longevity. It may not even be possible decades from now. You’ve made an important investment in wedding photography and of all the things you spend money on for your wedding, your photographs are the only thing that will go up in value over time. Especially, if you can flip through a gorgeous album instead of sitting at your computer clicking ‘next’ with your mouse.
Now that doesn’t mean that wedding albums need to be as, how shall I put this, ‘traditional’ as your grannies album. Modern techniques and digital photography have opened up a wealth of design choices that simply weren’t available back in the day. So, yes they are still very relevant.
I take so much pride in the albums that I offer. Every one is handcrafted in Scotland using high-quality materials like thick photographic paper, and beautiful covers.
I love designing wedding albums to make them unique for each couple. Things I have added to pages in the past include the readings, song lyrics, letters the couple have written to each other, quotes, their vows, etc. All things that make it personal to that couple and take them back to their magical day every time they look at their album.
When purchasing something you know is going to be passed down in your family for generations, you need it to be a solid, quality product that will survive many years. These albums are HEAVY. Every album includes lay-flat pages, expertly cut paper, and pro inks. They come in 12 x12, or 12 x 16 sizes, with 20 pages as standard (and the opportunity to add more if required).

Cover Story
Each album includes your choice of cover options. Included in your album price is also the option to stamp or UV Print the album cover with the text of your choice. You can write up to 2 lines. Many choose to write their names, wedding date, or both. 5 font choices are also available.

Or how about a choice of 5 of the most popular Scottish tartans with complementing leather accents.
It’s whats on the inside that counts.
On the inside, your album is filled with only the photos you choose to include. After a quick and simple selection process, I take the time to custom design every page. Photos are mounted directly onto the album spread and the Fujicolour Professional DP II Lustre paper makes every colour pop.
As the client, you give the final design approval after requesting any (and as many) edits you wish.

Packaged with care

Add the ultimate finishing touch to your album with a Premium Presentation Box. Custom-built to suit your album, the Premium Presentation Box is a full image-wrap, lined and cushioned box that perfectly presents your album.
I will be the first to admit, wedding albums from any professional photographer are not cheap. But it is for good reason. They are hand stitched, custom designed, and not mass produced like online photo books. At the end of the day, your wedding photos are the only thing that remain. They deserve to be showcased with pride.
I try to keep my album prices as low as possible and all my prices transparent. My albums are all available to order seperately after the wedding to spread the cost and can be ordered up to a year after the wedding.
Paper is the tradditional 1st year Wedding Anniversary gift – just saying 🙂
Of course not everyone can afford a luxury wedding album. Fine Art Books are much less expensive than an album but higher quality than a photo book. They are a perfect compromise that showcases your moments on beautiful Mohawk Fine Art paper.

I do offer clients competitively priced Photo books as well. But I have to advise that they are not archival. The paper and bindings do wear, fade and damage over time.
A picture is worth a thousand words, but the memories are priceless…
